Win Tickets to See Disney on Ice -- 100 Years of Magic

The celebration of the century comes alive in Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic. This monumental ice skating spectacular is coming to Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre from Wednesday, Feb. 24, to Sunday, Feb. 28.

Tickets are for the Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. and are non-transferable or exchangeable. The winner will be announced in next week’s issue.

About the Show

 

Audiences will be a part of the magic of Disney as Mouse-ter of Ceremonies Mickey Mouse leads a parade of more than 50 beloved characters starring Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and featuring an ensemble of Disney Princesses including Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Snow White and Tiana. The wintry wonderland of Disney’s Frozen also comes to life with Anna, Elsa and the hilarious Olaf, as they discover that true love is the greatest magic of all. Exciting moments from Disney-Pixar’s Finding Nemo, Disney’s Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast will leave the whole family with memories to last a lifetime.

The legacy of Disney is displayed through 14 classic and modern stories in this epic production that features an international team of award-winning figure skaters, high-energy choreography and a breathtaking set. With more than 30 melodious masterpieces such as Let It Go, You’ve Got A Friend in Me and Hakuna Matata, Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic is the ultimate Disney fan experience.

 

Tickets for Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic can be purchased by visiting www.CapitalTickets.ca, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at each of the 10 participating Canadian Tire stores in Ottawa as well as the store in Perth, The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall and Place d’Orléans, any Ottawa Sports Experts location, Les Galeries de Hull, Ottawa Festivals and at the Canadian Tire Centre box office. Tickets are $15, $23, $32, $52 and $72 (rinkside seats) for all shows.

 

All children’s tickets (age 2-12; limit of four per full-price adult ticket) for the 7 p.m. show on Thursday, Feb. 25, and the 7 p.m. show on Saturday, Feb. 27, are only $12 (excluding rinkside and VIP seats; additional restrictions may apply). Prices include all taxes but exclude CRF and convenience charges. All persons two years of age and older must have a ticket to enter the venue.

 

Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magicwill perform nine shows over the course of five days from Wednesday, Feb. 24, to Sunday, Feb. 28, as follows:

 

Wednesday, Feb. 24 – 7 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 25 – 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 26 – 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 27 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 28 – 11 a.m. and a 3 p.m. French performance
