The OPL is ready for Summer reading! This year’s TD Summer Reading Club theme is Eureka!
Children participating will receive a magazine or pre-reading activity book, a “maker” notebook and stickers. They will set their imaginations free this summer with books and programs about ‘making’. Kids will learn to tinker, grow, concoct, wreck and remake!
During the summer, branches across the city will offer programming featuring crafts, science, technology, writing, drawing performing, textiles, construction, puppets, games, stories and much more!
This Summer, and all year-long, children can also get inspired in the new Imagine Space Makerspace at the Nepean Centrepointe branch. The Imagine Space was launched in April 2014 and features cutting edge equipment such as 3D printers, a laser cutter, photo, video and sound editing software and more.
