Coming Soon - The Ottawa International Children's Festival

We're so pleased to once again be sponsoring the wonderful Ottawa International Children's Festival.

If you've never been, you're in for a treat. If you HAVE attended, this year's lineup looks amazing, especially if you are looking for the best in live performing arts for kids.

Creating programs for children aged four to 15, the Festival focuses on enriching school curriculum and promoting the arts as an integral part of children’s education; strives to present work that excites and challenges audiences of all ages; and prides itself on developing and producing award winning programming that comes from across Canada and around the world.

Thanks to our friends at OICF, we have a great giveaway - a family four pack to the show of your choice (confirming ticket availability). We suggest to get your tickets to the many shows you'll want to see, you order your tickets now!

The Festival runs from May 4 – 13, 2015. Tickets to all performances can be purchased in person at the festival box office, by calling 613-241-0999 ext. 109 and from the Tickets page on their website: http://ottawachildrensfestival.ca/shcedule-tickets/

 

Educators can find class booking information here: http://ottawachildrensfestival.ca/for-educators/ Please feel free to share this information with your child's teacher, attending an OICF performance makes a super fun field trip for the kids.

Onsite Activities open on the 8th and include:

  • The 100 Watt Earth Stage
  • Mad Hatter Tea Party
  • Long & McQuade Musical Petting Zoo
  • Junkyard Symphony
  • and many more!
  • The Architects of Air Pentalum structure and Kromatik face-painting are $5; all other activities are free to ticketholders.

The Festival takes place at LeBreton Flats, with some performances in the theatres inside the Canadian War Museum at 1 Vimy Place (LeBreton Flats) and others inside tents specially erected for the event. All activities are outdoors!
