Hello! I am your publisher for the Macaroni Kid Ottawa Capital Region. My name is Deanna and I moved to Ottawa from the Guelph area 15 years ago to complete my B.Ed and have never left! It's an amazing city and I have made it home with my husband and my son.

I am an elementary school teacher and a course facilitator in the ECE program for Algonquin College Online, teaching 'Children's Literature' and 'Emergent Literacy and Language'.

I LOVE the outdoors and spending my time exploring new hiking or biking trails. 

I have two fur babies at home named Charlie and Jordy.
