I’ve always said to my husband it’s a good thing that we don’t have a little girl, because I would have gone nuts shopping for cute girl clothes. My resolve was recently tested at the amazing Elm Hill Kids, a wonderful children’s store located in the Signature Centre on Terry Fox Drive in Kanata (right next to Tag Along Toys). During one recent visit, I was holding an amazing pair of black sparkly baby shoes with silver taffeta bows, for no other reason than they were the most adorable thing I’d seen in a while! (Don’t get me wrong, the boy clothes are cute too, but these shoes were to. die. for.)
This gorgeous boutique provides quality products for kids 0-12 at reasonable prices with great customer service! From everyday casual wear to the perfect special occasion outfit, Elm Hill Kids has just what you need for your little cutie. The best thing is the prices are totally reasonable. Elm Hill Kids owner Sarah is a big believer in offering amazing products for children, but not at a crazy price point. With her years of experience and great taste, she is able to select clothes for the shop that are wearable and affordable for everyone.
Besides fabulous clothes, shoes and accessories, they have fun gifts, children’s art, and one of a kind items not found anywhere else in town. (I’m coveting a caterpillar clock for my new nephew, along with several other unique items).
Brands they carry include TOMS shoes for kids, petunia pickle bottom, Stonz, mimiTens, Hatley, and they are the only store in the Ottawa area carrying Tea Collection clothing for ages 2-12 years.
They have a bright, kid friendly space complete with dedicated nursing/changing room with complimentary organic supplies.
Elm Hill Kids is on Facebook and Twitter and offer a fun One-Day/Monday special, where they tweet a one day deal every Monday at 9:00 a.m. You can follow them @ElmHillKids or facebook.com/elmhillkids. Stop by and check them out. You and your kids will be glad you did.
