Skate Through A Forest At Patinage En Forets 

Skate in Ottawa through a 3km trail through the trees at Patinage En Forets. Click here to buy tickets and also learn about dates where you can skate at night.

  • Hours: 9 am to dusk
  • Cost:
    • Adults: $16/day, $48/season
    • Children (6 to 17): $12/day, $36/season

Skate Through An Apple Orchard At RiverOak Estates Skating Trail 

Skate in Ottawa on a 3km trail through an apple orchard at RiverOak Estate

  • Address: 2900 York’s Corners Rd, Metcalfe
  • Hours: Wed-Thurs 11 am-6 pm, Fri 11 am-8 pm, Sat 9 am-8 pm, Sun 9 am-5 pm
  • Cost: single day ($13.50/adult and $9 youth), 3 day and season passes also available
  • Skate Rentals: bring your own skates

Skate Through A Forest At Icelynd

Head to Icelynd Skating Trails, Ottawa’s newest skating adventure. Make sure to purchase a pass in advance

  • Address: 6865 Fernbank Road, Stittsville
  • Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 3-8pm, Friday-Saturday 10am-10pm, Sunday 10am-7pm 
  • Cost: $18 Adult, $12 Child/Senior, Ice Rink can be booked at an hourly rate
  • Skate Rentals: bring your own skates

Skate Through A Maze at Éco-Odyssée 

Éco-Odyssée has transformed their water maze into a skating playground. There are 5km of skating trails through the maze, and you can also visit at night.

  • Hours: Thursday to Sunday until March 6th
  • Cost: $20/adult and $15 youth, children under 3 free
  • Skate Rentals: bring your own skates

Skate Through A Forest at Countryside Adventures

The great thing about Countryside Adventures is that you can skate, snowshoe, or cross country ski through their different paths.

  • Hours: Mon-Wed 10 am-10 pm, Thurs – Sat 10 am to 10 pm, Sun 10 am to dark

Skate Through A Forest At Laurentian Valley Trail in the Ottawa Valley

Glide through the trees on this 1.5km skating trail on Laurentian Valley Skating Trail. You’ll find this trail near Pembroke. 

  • Address: 2 Henan Road, Pembroke
  • Hours: Daily 10am-4pm, Night Skates Thursdays and Saturdays from 6pm-9pm
  • Cost: Free, donations welcome
  • Bring your own skates

Skate at Historic Rideau Hall 

  • Address: 1 Sussex Dr, Ottawa
  • Hours: Open daily, for a 1.5 hour timeslot between 10 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., by reservation only. Timeslots are available at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
