It's that time of year where you may feel compelled to buy the boxes of chocolate bars or chips sitting by the grocery store check out in anticipation for the children coming to your house to 'Treat or Treat'. It also means that your own child(ren) will be bringing at least that much junk food back into your house at the end of the month.
Why not try something different this year? The City of Ottawa 'Trick or Swim or Skate' program is back this year! You can purchase 10 tickets for only $10 to swim or skate at City pools and select arenas. This healthy and fun alternative to the traditional candy overload will have all your ghouls and goblins pleasantly surprised.
Tickets are valid for ages three to 15 years.
Tickets have sold out quickly in the past, so be sure to grab yours as soon as you can! You can purchase ticket books from select City recreational facilities starting on Tuesday, October 4, while quantities last.
